“Brilliant visit”

Excellent hotel very close to Bracknell town centre. Very clean room with comfortable bed, and friendly staff available. Parking was plentiful and free.

I had a very good recent stay at the Premier Inn Bracknell Central and would happily return. Arrival was slightly surreal. Two members of staff were sitting at reception but explained that they couldn’t check me in because they were doing staff training and that I needed to ring for someone else. I’m not entirely sure why training that prevents staff serving guests needs to take place at the public reception desk rather than in an office. Fortunately, another member of staff appeared quickly and checked me in without any real delay. The only other slight negative was what felt like quite a pressured attempt during check-in to persuade me to eat in the restaurant that evening. Rather than tempting me, it actually strengthened my resolve to go out for dinner! Those points aside, the stay itself was excellent. The room was great: clean, comfortable and, most importantly during the recent hot weather, equipped with very effective air conditioning. It made a huge difference. Breakfast the following morning was also very good and deserves particular mention because of the young member of staff running the room. He seemed to be covering virtually everything: looking after the tables, keeping the buffet stocked, clearing up and dealing with the coffee machine. Somehow, whenever the machine developed an issue, he appeared almost telepathically to sort it out, regardless of however many other things he was juggling at the time. It is quite a rare skill to provide genuinely attentive floor service while managing that many different tasks, but he did it exceptionally well. Premier Inn have a very good member of staff there. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A couple of quirks on arrival, but a great room, good breakfast and particularly impressive service in the breakfast room. I’m looking forward to my next stay.

“Can't beat the value”

Premier Inn always provides great value and the rooms are extremely good for the price. Check in took ages and there was only 1 guest in front of us! There didn't seem to be any explanation as to why it took the guy on reception to check the guest in. When we eventually got to check in he was friendly and welcoming. We'd paid for breakfast but there was an offer on breakfast and evening meal which was great value. When we went for the evening meal there was only one member of staff working and at 6pm she was already loosing her mind and telling customers how busy it was and that reception had booked everyone in at the same time. She was shouting from the bar to guests sat at tables. I was very surreal and I wasn't sure whether it was a hidden camera type prank or not. Food was good fortunately even if the service was very alternative. Enjoyed our 2 nights regardless of this. Rooms never seem to be cleaned that well,.it was just an empty fruit shoot bottle under the bed at Bracknell which was preferable to the used condom that we had under the bed at Reading.
