I will start with my concerns because the review would be much higher if not for these two things. 1. There is no overnight staffing supervision this resort. This became apparent when, staying in the clubhouse, 2-3 young men were very drunk and brought a large and badly behaved group of people from outside the park into their apartment and played loud music, shouted aggressively, argued and ran up and down the stairs all night into the morning. Thankfully, they only did this for one night but, for a place that markets itself to families and where we ourselves brought our grandkids, this is really a worry and an overnight presence and not just a phone number may have had some control over this risk. 2. Less of a worry, but everything in our kitchen (for cooking and eating) was really, really dirty with other people's food and grease. There was nothing in there that could be used without a good scrubbing. Yes, this is a self catering park but you are relying on Great British public to do something to make it easier on the next people and not actually checking if it has been done leaving new visitors with a heap of washing up. We were lucky that our youngsters were of an age to entertain themselves but for people travelling with a younger or larger family this would present a real difficulty. Onto the good things, the staff are all lovely. They are helpful, kind and welcoming and we are grateful for their efforts during our stay. The views around the park are stunning, the walks into beautiful combe martin is short and the pool is great for kids and families with a lifeguard always in attendance. It is true that the accommodation is basic but (kitchen stuff aside) ours was clean, comfortable and cosy. With the one exception of the overnight safety concern, we would be happy to return again 🙂

We chose this park due to location, family live nearby and its a beautiful setting Park is outdated, very few amenities to keep kids entertained but the caravan is clean but basic, considering its advertised as gold standard Very frustrated after a 6 hour drive, finding the breakfast pack we ordered and paid for isn't here, really wanted a cup of tea ! Told the staff at reception, was told they would try and get someone to bring it ! Its the next morning and no sign of it coming.. Staff are friendly though, but doesn't seem to be alot of staff to cater for the amount of guests Will see if the paid for goods turn up in the next day or two ! 🫠

The location is beautiful absolutely stunning views of sea and sunset from the garden of the bar. Accommodation was a let down. We upgraded to a platinum caravan but it looked absolutely nothing like on the pictures on the website and was more like a classic caravan. When we arrived I went to open the window and the window frame fell apart this also happened in one of the bedrooms and by the front door. I reported to reception and was told maintenance would be along to fix 2 days later no maintenance. The cooker and oven are utterly useless I tried to cook a pizza and would have been better off leaving it outside to cook in the sun or putting my lighter underneath it. The knives provided I can only assume are safety knives as they wouldn’t cut through butter. The pool was hardly ever open. And certainly not at the times advertised on the app. Kids were very disappointed. Overall holidaying here was ok the weather and location were amazing but let down by poor accommodation not sure we will be back.
