“Sunday carvery”
We have not been to Alton house hotel for a carvery for sometime, we met there today for a family get together, First class food , reasonable price, Staff are great , polite and making sure all was ok , we definitely won't leave it so long till our next visit.

“Hotel with character.”
It's a lovely old hotel and you can see that in its heyday, it was the place to stay. It definitely does need a refurbishment and maybe more investment to bring this place up to the level it deserves. The staff are pleasant and hardworking and long may the hotel stay in business.
