Stayed here for one night on the way to the channel tunnel for a trip to Disneyland Paris. Easy free parking very helpful and friendly reception staff. Stayed here for one night on the way to the channel tunnel for a trip to Disneyland Paris. Easy free parking very helpful and friendly reception staff. We were in our room within a few minutes of arriving. Room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We used the Beefeater for the evening meal but had an early morning departure so did not have breakfast. We would stay here again.

“Good Premier Inn”

Selected the Ashford Central Premier Inn this time for a night before crossing The Channel on Le Shuttle. Selected the Ashford Central Premier Inn this time for a night before crossing The Channel on Le Shuttle. Not too impressed with The PI at Folkestone last year, so I thought we would try Ashford instead. Not disappointed. Good overall, just off The M20, easy 20 minutes to the tunnel. Nice reception staff, quiet, clean and spacious room, with air conditioning. Plenty of parking and an ok restaurant steps away. No complaints, will use again.

“The photo on the webpage is old but lovely staff!”

The hotel no longer looks the beautiful pristine white it shows on the photo. Its now dirty, grey and well worn. The hotel no longer looks the beautiful pristine white it shows on the photo. Its now dirty, grey and well worn. The staff on reception we saw were wonderful hosts, very welcoming, warm and attentive. The rooms were okay. The air conditioning was on when we arrived, which was thoughtful. The beds were made up and all linen was clean. The floor in the bathroom and some of the walls showed their age/usage and could do with a refresh. Unfortunately, it seems that the housekeeping team only use a robohoover and the edges of the rooms and around doorframe have a clear boundary of about 3cm of white dust which is very obvious. The carpet in the hallway of the 1st floor had puckered and is quite a trip hazard now. Breakfast was next door at the beefeater but you're mu h better off with a McDonald's just a few steps further on. It was concerning when we arrived that the server was very flustered and was the only staff member on. He did comment that Mondays weren't usually so busy. He returned multiple breakfasts to the chef before even taking them to the table. I went to get some cereal for my 4 year old and went through a pile of 12 dishes before finding a clean one. They had obviously been through the was and had dried food stuck on them. The fruit salad looked like it had been out for several days and the pastries left much to be desired too. With one of us being a coeliac, we decided not to take a chance with the kit hen when they couldn't even get straight forward sausage and bacon right. The server dis persist that it would be okay, but we certainly weren't comfortable with the risk of being glutened.
