“Peaceful property ”

We needed a base before a visit to Snetterton race circuit. This was an ideal location. The self check in was ideal as we arrived late and checked out fairly early. We needed a base before a visit to Snetterton race circuit. This was an ideal location. The self check in was ideal as we arrived late and checked out fairly early. This meant that we didn't have time to see the pool Free and plentiful parking was a bonus. Our room was at the back of the property and was very quiet as were all rooms. It was also very clean with a spacious bathroom. The fan for the bedroom came in very handy too. It was lovely to have a seating area outside of our room. The palm tress by the breakfast room and gardens were lovely. A simple breakfast was available on a self service basis and everything was spotlessly clean and fresh We will book here again and hope to have more time to enjoy this property. Thank you for making it so easy.

“Comfortable bed is the only positive”

Booked through buy a gift . Had to top up on the voucher . So very expensive for what you get . If all you want is a comfy bed then this is the place but don’t look any deeper . We asked for a double bed by email as buy a gift didn’t give us that option. And we had 2 singles . Pushed them together… more

We asked for a double bed by email as buy a gift didn’t give us that option. And we had 2 singles . Pushed them together and the floor was absolutely disgusting underneath so no cleaning . Bathroom very tired taps and toilet seat falling off. Very old so just looked dirty . Breakfast so minimal 3 different cereals and just bread . Did have yoghurts in fridge but that was it . Same bread out 2 days in a row . Did not see the owners to talk too. No other guests there . Swimming pool was pitch dark to find and just felt dirty. Such a shame it could be so beautiful if the place just had TLC . We won’t be back

“Avoid booking through Agoda”

Basic is definitely the best way to describe our stay. We also had a nightmare at check in. We’d booked our room through Agoda and others in our party through booking.com. They received emails from the hotel confirming their room number and how to check in, we received nothing. When we got to the property we realised there is no reception, no one to ask. We rang the number multiple times and Agoda customer services and got no where. After being on the property for 45 minutes and checking which rooms were unlocked, we eventually got hold of the owners who said Agoda didn’t give them any of our details so they had no way to send the information through - how they thought we’d be able to check in then I don’t know! We’ve since complained to Agoda who said that they should have been sent the information to pass on to us. So neither is admitting they messed up. Luckily we left our event to check in in the afternoon, as we nearly waiting until late at night after our event which would have meant we wouldn’t have had a room and as we were travelling with our 6 month old - that thought was quite scary. The room itself needed a good clean/ hoover with spiders everywhere and mould coming through in the bathroom. The shower also only dribbled. ‘Continental breakfast’ ended up being a pile of bread, 3 choices of cereal and some yogurts in the fridge - extremely basic. You don’t see anyone while staying and if you’re staying multiple nights your room doesn’t get cleaned. Appreciate this was a cheap stay, but I think for the price we paid, you would still expect a bit more for your money.
