“Great Experience”

We have just spent two nights for our wedding anniversary at this lovely hotel unfortunatley 2 hours after arring they had a total power cut resulting in National grid having to bring in a generator until power could be restored but thanks to the lovely staff especially the lovely Becky a disaster… more

We have just spent two nights for our wedding anniversary at this lovely hotel unfortunatley 2 hours after arring they had a total power cut resulting in National grid having to bring in a generator until power could be restored but thanks to the lovely staff especially the lovely Becky a disaster was avoided and we where able to enjoy the great food and fantastic ambiance that this Hotel has to offer all of the staff here went to great trouble(under the circumstances) to make sure that our anniversary was made as enjoyable as possible thank you all you are a credit to your profession

“Disappointed”

My stay at Quorn Grange Hotel left much to be desired. The room was dated and in need of serious maintenance. The bedroom felt tired with chipped melamine furniture, broken window catches, and noticeable black mold in the bathroom. The separate bath plug seemed perished, and the bath fittings were rusty and worn. Cracks in the plasterwork and faded graffiti on the wall above the storage area further added to the tired ambiance. Despite these issues, the food served was adequate, but the bar lacked sufficient staff and had no cider on tap. The hotel's overall appearance was tired and dated, although the old facade had a certain charm. The laminated paper signage and unusually low door handles were notable quirks. Unfortunately, the amenities fell short as well. The TV failed to pick up channels despite multiple attempts at retuning, and the hotel felt consistently cold. The radiator in the bathroom was non-functional, and the one in the room, positioned beneath a poorly fixed window, was inefficient. In summary, while the Quorn Grange Hotel has potential with its charming facade and adequate food, the lack of maintenance and attention to detail significantly detracted from the overall experience.

Good sized rooms, pleasant location and helpful staff. But very poor management and supervision. In the room, stained carpets and had clearly not been vacuum cleaned. Heated towel rail didn`t work, heating barely adequate, no hot water in wash basin until after breakfast. Buffet breakfast very poor… more

Good sized rooms, pleasant location and helpful staff. But very poor management and supervision. In the room, stained carpets and had clearly not been vacuum cleaned. Heated towel rail didn`t work, heating barely adequate, no hot water in wash basin until after breakfast. Buffet breakfast very poor. Items ran out , even milk. Breakfast attendant disappeared, was eventually found in the kitchen folding table linen. The hotel needs some strong management to sort out all these issues.
