We were celebrating a birthday and sought accommodation in Bath for a family of three. Much of the offer within the City comprised the typical hotel-room configuration of a double bed and sofa-bed, which was far from ideal. And then we discovered Bath Circle ! We booked a serviced appartment and emailed ahead to see if the one depicted in the Tripadvisor entry (the Crescent Apartment) was available. It was ! Your host is Karina, who emailed us prior to arrival and is amazing. Unobtrusive, yet always on-hand by telephone or email should you need advice or assistance in planning your stay. She gave us very comprehensive directions and we arrived outside the property, situated just behind the world famous Royal Crescent. The building, which houses several apartments, presents as a smart, 5-storey Georgian property, set in a street of similar buildings. We parked outside and used the entry system (a PIN pad) to access the foyer and from there a further PIN pad to access our apartment. On entering, you find yourself in a small entrance foyer, with shoe rack and hooks for your outdoor clothes, then through into the very spacious and well-planned apartment. To the left is a sumptuously furnished double bedroom with ultra-comfortable bed, nice artwork, 2 bed-side tables, lamps, wardrobes and dressing table. There is a large flat-screen TV and a view, through two sash-windows, to a small courtyard, with ornamental trees, just below street level. Window dressings are good quality Austian blinds. There is an iron, ironing board and hairdryer supplied. Next to the bedroom is a smart marble-finished bathroom with ample fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, bath and over-bath shower. To the right of the entrance foyer you walk into a very well-equipped open plan kitchen, with integrated appliances (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, sink, DAB radio, Nespresso coffee macjine and a good array of glassware, cutlery and crockery). You'll also find a lovely cellophane-wrapped welcome hamper with Schloer, Terry's chocolate orange, Alpen, brioche, bread, preserves and artisan crisps). Karina will have also put some fresh milk and butter in the fridge. Opposite the kitchen is your dining area (thoughtfully pre-laid with 3 place-settings). There are several lighting controls - including a dimmer switch, wall lights and ceiling spot-lights to enable various lighting effects to be created. Through then into an orangery, with pitched ceiling and Velux windows, which allows sunlight to stream into the living space below - this houses your living room, equipped with two sofas (one of which is a sofa-bed), flat-screenTV, DVD player. There are two arched French windows to access your furnished private patio. To the right of the Living room is a single bedroom, with wardrobe and a French window to access the Patio. There are many thoughtful homely extras within the apartment, scented candles, reed-diffusers, Champagne flutes, a Champagne ice bucket, tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, larder foods etc Housekeeping throughout is immaculate. Karina arranged for us to have free access to the building's garage (situated just across the green, whcih was ideal). I undertsand that the garage is available on a first-come-first-served basis, but Karina will make arrangements for you to have a residents parking permit (£10 per day) if the garage is unavailable. All sights of bath are within a 5 to 10 minute stroll - taxis and Uber are widely available. An excellent, well-furnihsed, well situated alternative to traditional hotels. Highly recommended. We will most definitley stay again.

“Immaculate apartment”

Very well located apartment, especially for visiting the Crescent. Everything was immaculate, the reason for only 4 stars are small reasons which can easily be rectified. There was just a tea towel, no oven gloves which made it difficult when using the oven. Only one spare pillow, we both would … more

Very well located apartment, especially for visiting the Crescent. Everything was immaculate, the reason for only 4 stars are small reasons which can easily be rectified. There was just a tea towel, no oven gloves which made it difficult when using the oven. Only one spare pillow, we both would have liked two, dirty sponge left in the kitchen and not enough toilet paper. These are minor points, overall it was a fantastic weekend.

“Well situated, well finished apartment”

A lovely light space nicely furnished and well positioned for the Royal Circle. Easy 15mins to walk into town (it's uphill for the way back!) A lovely light space nicely furnished and well positioned for the Royal Circle. Easy 15mins to walk into town (it's uphill for the way back!) Helpful items left which was great (milk, cereal, washing up liquid, tea, sugar and coffee pods) but letdown slightly by lacking some more basic provisions e.g. more than one tea towel, enough toilet paper for the 5 people staying for a weekend, more than one pillow each. While the sofa bed accommodates 2 people, there are no blinds on the sky lights so those sleeping on the sofa get full daylight from sunrise. Good communication from host and arrangement of on street parking for agreed charge.

“Very nice stay but...”

Beautiful stay at the circle appartments. Very well appointed and clean with a perfect location for exploring Bath. Beautiful stay at the circle appartments. Very well appointed and clean with a perfect location for exploring Bath. Karina left some very special touches for my husband's birthday and a lovely welcome hamper it was the perfect stay but sadly there was a problem hence why we only give 3 stars. The second bedroom, which my son stayed in had an awful smell of sewage. It was present when we arrived and through out our stay. The electrics in that room also stop working. We did text our host but sadly no replies which I feel would have made a difference. We felt very sad that we had spent £700 on a stay that was not comfortable for all the family. If this problem had been addressed I certainly would have given in five stars. I would like to thank the host though for other than that a wonderful stay.
