“Lovely hotel with great staff”

Perfect location for a few days in Bath. Comfortable hotel and great staff - friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay and made the most of what Bath offers. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is quite easy walking distance into the main "old" part of town ... Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, River Avon, multiple churches, tons of restaurants. We loved our spacious room with a gorgeous high ceiling and updated bathroom. It felt like pure luxury after our cramped stay in London. We chose to enjoy their breakfast after an early morning walk down the river and around the Royal Victoria Gardens. There is an additional upcharge for the breakfast; but it was heaty and delicious with multiple options on the menu. There's a lovely little garden where you can sit out in the evening. It's in an old estate house, so there is no A/C -- which meant it was quite hot when we were there. But they provided a fan, and the windows opened so we could bring in some cooler air once the sun went down. It felt clear that the staff wanted to make our stay quite nice.

A good location on the edge of the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff at this guest house (not a hotel). Breakfast is cooked to order and very nice and fairly priced at £16 per person. A good location on the edge of the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff at this guest house (not a hotel). Breakfast is cooked to order and very nice and fairly priced at £16 per person. Room was ok but in need of a little TLC - bed headboard was loose, pelmet needed fixing, paint touch-up required. The room was quiet apart from the fact the noise from above room could be heard very clearly (footstep noise and running water noise which came late and early) - not their fault but disturbing if you're a light sleeper. So often the case with older properties and little can be done to mitigate such things. Suggest carefully checking room options prior to booking. Outside front of the property needs attention - window boxes had dead flowers in them on upper floors. Rear of the property is very nice having a well kept communal garden overlooking the croquet lawn. Having a parking area is helpful but costs £10 per night but I expect this is quite normal for Bath as many hotels in the centre have no parking at all. All-in-all, this guest house is well priced offering good value for money.

It looks nothing like the photos. We wouldnt stay here again.
