We drove to the hotel, pulled up outside and someone (Nani?) came out to welcome us. He invited us to enter and help ourselves to a hot drink in a comfortably furnished room while he unloaded our luggage. We'd booked the car parking service and someone else came to park the car. Once we'd finished our coffee, Nani(?) showed us where the restaurant was and then took us to our room, where our hanging clothes were in the spacious wardrobe along with our cases. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. The King size bed was so comfortable and the huge fluffy towels in the bathroom were a delight. We loved all the unusual and quirky wallpaper in the room as well as around the hotel. We weren't dining in the hotel as both nights we were meeting friends but the breakfasts were delicious with a menu to suit all tastes. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, too. Leaving the hotel was as easy as arriving. The porter brought our luggage down and loaded our car which was outside. The hotel is perfectly placed to explore Bath, with the Royal Crescent just five minutes walk and the main shopping area about fifteen minutes away. We hope to return next year, in the summer, when we hope to enjoy the pretty garden area too.

We had two rooms booked as our daughter was getting married. They had the junior suite and we had a master deluxe. Well they were both amazing and definitely had a feel of luxury which was exactly what we wanted. When we entered the rooms classical music was being played and this really added to the atmosphere. The furnishings were so beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. Now let me talk about our bathroom, it was absolutely huge and magnificent. I really cannot talk more highly about the rooms. We dined in The Olive Tree restaurant and had the most fabulous meal. The whole experience was delightful. The staff gave very detailed explanations about every course and were super friendly too. We also had breakfast and again, food and service were fantastic. The bar also had a great bar man who made good rum and whiskey old fashions. It was also a very pleasant place to spend time. As well as the above, the thing I really want to highlight is the top service that is offered. All staff that we encountered were so efficient and friendly. They definitely made our stay from the moment we arrived until we departed. Looking forward to our return.

My husband and I had a wonderful overnight stay with dinner and breakfast included in the booking given as a Christmas present. The atmosphere was relaxing from the moment we walked through the door. Assistance was immediately offered without feeling rushed. Our car key was taken for valet parking and our bag taken to our room. We were offered a hot drink immediately whilst booking in. We were shown to a lovely room, which was good size, clean, well furnished and extremely comfortable. Dinner was amazing with good service, courses were served with an explanation of ingredients. The tastes and textures were wonderful. It was exciting waiting for each course to arrive. Extensive drinks menu and knowledgeable serving staff. Breakfast was also beautifully cooked and presented, with a wide choice on offer. Checking out was quick and easy. The hotel is perfectly placed to visit the shops and many sites of Bath.

We booked valet parking so when we arrived we pulled up outside the hotel and let them know. Someone was straight outside to collect our bags and park the car which was a massive help. Whilst checking in, we were shown into a lovely communal room with complimentary tea and coffee. I was pleased to see there was a decaf coffee option. Even though we arrived before check in, our room was ready. We booked the four poster bed room and it was absolutely stunning. I was blown away. The bathroom was the biggest I’d ever seen! The bed was huge and very comfortable with lovely big, soft pillows. There was plenty of storage. We had complimentary water, a TV in our room and the WiFi was good. The bathroom had a massive freestanding bath complete with lovely bath salts, a huge double shower, his and hers sinks and a dressing table with vanity mirror complete with lights. The complimentary hair/body wash, conditioner and body lotion was lovely and smelt divine. There was also a Dyson hairdryer. You got bath robes and slippers included. The whole place was immaculate. Even though it was a cold February night, both the room and bathroom were lovely and warm. It was also so quiet considering our room was next to the street. The hotel offer an evening turndown service. We booked bed and breakfast and let the hotel know the evening before what time we would like breakfast. Included was one option from the cooked breakfast option or two from the continental breakfast options. You also got tea or coffee and juice included. It was all delicious. The hotel wasn’t far from the city centre and it didn’t take long to walk in and explore. We had booked direct with the hotel and received some welcome treats and a lovely Queensbury Hotel tote bag in our room. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. On departure they brought our car back around from the valet parking and offered help with our luggage. We had the best stay in this beautiful hotel and highly recommended it. Great value for money.
