From the friendly welcome on arrival to the cleanliness of the room this hotel blew our expectations away! Reception were fabulous and made us feel welcome instantly. We knew the car park was small and when we arrived it was already full. They advised us of the nearest car park and even knew the clearance height to avoid me removing my roof box u intentionally! Check in was quick and painless and room ready earlier than expected. The room although compact was perfectly appointed with a double bed and a single bunk over it. A small desk and chair in the corner, it lacked the soft furnishings of pricier hotels but they were not missed for the fab price we paid! The room was small but workable with two of us and we only planned to sleep there. The bathroom whole big had a lovely decent sized shower. Again no shampoo etc but again, we were not expecting it at this price and didn’t miss them. Both the room and bathroom were spotless which is my number one requirement anywhere I stay! The reception area was big, light and again very clean! Good selection of vending machines and coffee and this were also clean. We didn’t get a chance to sample the 24 hours pizza or bar but were impressed they were available as an option! We also didn’t sample breakfast but at £9 per person this was also good value! Thank you for a great stay! This hotel deserves more than 2 stars and we will not only recommend you to friends and family but be back if we come to Birmingham chain. I have to say I travel for work and stayed in 5 star accommodation and I was still genuinely impressed all round.

“Worth it!”

It was a great stay! The staff are helpful, the breakfast is delicious. The room is not big, but the scape is well used. The bed is confortable, the TV and shower work well. The location is very good, and the windows are soundproof.

I had a meeting in Birmingham so I travelled up on the train the night before so I would be rested for the meeting. The hotel was not too far from Birmingham New Street and with the help of google I was able to find it quite easily. Check in was very straightforward and the gentleman was very welcoming and provided me with my keycard and directed me to my room. My room was very basic but to be honest I didn't need much else, there was a double bed with a bunk on top and lots of charging sockets. There was a hanging space and small desk and chair. The only criticism I would have of the room is that it was a little narrow getting round the bed to get to the bathroom. The bathroom was excellent with a really good shower which I used in the morning and I was refreshed after using it. I had a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was a continental breakfast and a bit underwhelming. I paid £9 and there were only two types of cereal, bread, yoghurt and fruit. I would have expected a bigger variety. It's a budget hotel so I was not expecting something very grand but it was clean and I slept well. Let down by the breakfast, perhaps if you stay there go to a local cafe and you will get a better selection.
