I rarely leave reviews, but having had a 60-minute massage with Feyza at the Harbour Hotel spa, I absolutely have to! Feyza is one of those genius therapists who intuits without words exactly where your aches and niggles are. Despite being tiny, she's incredibly strong and made light work of my knotty shoulders, balancing that beautifully with essential oils, body brushing, and swaddling me like a very relaxed baby. It was a gorgeous experience and one I recommend unreservedly.

“Birthday Weekend away”

We only booked for one night over the weekend as a couple. We were both pleasantly surprised due to the previous mixed reviews. Room- Room was really nice, we stayed in room 101 first floor, deluxe room with a sea view which certainly didn’t disappoint! Complimentary gin was a bonus! With some tea & biscuits with some water by the bed side table. Bathroom was clean and tidy with some nice toiletries, bath in the room was a lovely touch, which we enjoyed after dinner. Location - Great location and in the centre of everything that you need. Walkable distance to all restaurants and bars. 10/10. Sleep- Overall we slept okay, bed was massive and extremely comfy! Super comfortable pillows too. Only thing that kept us up for a good few hours of the night & early morning was the noise, maybe as we were on the first floor, we could hear the music/base of the music at Irish bar behind the hotel, until approximately 3/4am but eventually quietened down and fell asleep (bearing in mind I’m a light sleeper so probably didn’t help) Spa- Spa was nice, slightly busier than expected but managed to use everything we wanted to use and spend time in. Complimentary ice tea was a bonus, and matching robes and slippers! Breakfast- We paid for a cooked breakfast with our stay, breakfast was nice, lots of different continental options, and cooked options. I opted for a eggs Benedict, tasted good, shame eggs were more hard boiled than runny, but was still nice so wasn’t too much of a problem. Staff were lovely and food came out promptly. Overall- Nice weekend away, would probably return!

We booked a one night stay for our wedding anniversary. First impression - tired looking hotel. The lack of general upkeep of decor was noticeable and not what I'd expect from a 4* hotel. The staff on the front desk were very polite, as was the bar and restaurant staff 👍 Unfortunately, I personally felt the room didn't live up to the cost that we paid for it. We booked the superior with sea view. This was ok, but the sea view was somewhat obscured by the cloudy condensated double glazed windows, which have clearly had there day and as already mentioned the decor was tired. A complimentary dusty bottle of gin, which was in a carafe type bottle. We didnt take advantage of this as we did not know how long it had sat there and how many customers it had been handled by. Perhaps new smaller bottles would have been more appropriate. Complimentary bottle of water x2. The bed was great, big, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was good, well kept and clean. Ear plugs were also provided! The seafront room was noisy with music from other bars, revellers and traffic, but that's Brighton! (Cue the earplugs!) The room was equipped with various appliances, a safe, iron, ironing board, coffee machine, hairdryer, tv, fridge (which we realised wasn't actually on when our water stored overnight was still at room temp 😖) We had arranged to dine elsewhere in Brighton, so cannot comment on the hotel restaurant and menu. We did sample the hotel bar for a cocktail or two 👍 Breakfast was included and a choice from a select menu or buffet style was available. We chose from the menu and we both enjoyed the food ordered. Overall, I'd say an average stay, just wish the room was a bit more up to scratch for the priced paid.
