Booked this hotel when coming down for greatest showman and could not have been in a better location. Was right next to the riverside for walks, bar and restaurants as well as less than 5 minutes from the hippodrome and smoke and mirrors magic bars. Easy walking to the shops and as the weather was warm for this time of year we sat in the college green area which was lovely. Tesco opposite for any snacks. Room was decent size we were on top floor and was clean although had some wear and tear obvious. Nice view overlooking the cathedral and college green. Got 2 cartons of water replenished daily which was a nice touch. Room was clean bed comfy only let down was the noise outside both nights although this is not the hotels fault it did waken us both nights. Ate in the miller and Carter see separate review. Although we were woken would still return to this hotel as thought it was close to everywhere we wanted to be. All staff we came across were friendly

Nice hotel in a good location, surprisingly quiet and calm environment (as it is next to the cathedral and the riverside area). Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice hotel in a good location, surprisingly quiet and calm environment (as it is next to the cathedral and the riverside area). Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Exec Lounge was OK, excellent omelette station one morning but not repeated which was a shame. Hotel has a Miller and Carter attached which I found expensive. The hotel was clean and the decor of the hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly and efficient.

“Nice visit and location to stay when in Bristol”

My wife and I stayed at Bristol Marriott recently whilst on recent weekend getaway. We prefer to stay at Hilton or Marriott properties. We had a very nice visit. Location is great close to multiple sights and restaurants. Room was quite large - we splurged for a suite. Good value for what you get. Hotel is very clean. Nice touch to have ice and water machine on the floor. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Very nice executive lounge. About 20 minute walk from Temple Meads train station. Close to water and Bristol Cathedral. We had nice time and recommend when in area.

“Enjoyable stay in a suite with access to executive lounge”

We stayed for 5 nights and have just arrived home. We had a suite so had access to the executive lounge. This is open from 6.30am/7am and serves breakfast until 10.30 weekdays and 11am weekends. We stayed for 5 nights and have just arrived home. We had a suite so had access to the executive lounge. This is open from 6.30am/7am and serves breakfast until 10.30 weekdays and 11am weekends. Breakfast is a small selection but nice quality, cooked items e.g bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms and scrambled eggs. Juices, toast, cold cuts, pastries also. There's a coffee machine, milks and alternates in a fridge, water and soda available all day, and fruit as well. In the evenings between 5.30pm and 7.30pm there's three hot items and a salad, and cheese and grapes and crackers, with red and white wine and beer on a tap (5.30pm till 8.30pm). We didn't try the beer but there's two options. The hot food were, for example, fish goujons, chips and sweet potato wedges one night; chicken wings, spring rolls, scampi another night; other options included arrancini, falafel, fish, pizza, samosa. There's plenty of seating and we never struggled to get a table. The suite/room includes a selection of teas, coffees and biscoff biscuits, plus cartons of water. There was a slight problem with moths in the bedroom, but overall it was really nice and clean. Car park was easy to access after the shock of driving across the busy pavements in front of the hotel on arrival. Nice lounge areas and hotel, nice vanilla scent throughout the ground floor. Great location near the cathedral, Clifton, and waterside venues.
