Noticeable that they had enough staff on duty to give a great customer experience. Clean and well maintained. Noticeable that they had enough staff on duty to give a great customer experience. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast 7th December we saw the supervisor, Francesca, organize the waiting on and give a genuine welcome to guests coming into the restaurant. The cooked breakfast was good. Other budget hotels seem to be running on 80% of the staff they need - and it shows. Very impressed. Thank you Holiday Inn.

We stayed for 3 nights on a group coach tour visiting Bristol and the surrounding area. The hotel is well-situated in pleasant grounds giving us a view of wildlife around the pond. Although at first sight the rooms were "spartan" there was a place for everything and everything worked well and simply. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The meals were better than expected, with a good choice of well-cooked food at breakfast and tasty food for dinner. The stand-out feature of this hotel is the staff - friendly and efficient throughout.

“Good Hotel at 20min walk from Bristol Parkway Railway Station”

The hotel is well located at 20min walk from Bristol Parkway Railway Station. It's a typical Holiday Inn Express Hotel, practical place to rest and eat some food without luxury. I was allocated to a disabled person room. It was ok but I would rather prefer a normal room.

Room was cold, air conditioning never got warm despite on maximum temperature, so presume this was broken Wasn't a coffee machine in the room which i had upgraded £5 to get two days before we arrived! Room was cold, air conditioning never got warm despite on maximum temperature, so presume this was broken Wasn't a coffee machine in the room which i had upgraded £5 to get two days before we arrived! Not enough coffee or milk and a small kettle so was disappointed with this aspect. Bathroom was dirty at back of toilet, sink tap area smelt of sick Curtains were not fully blackout, lights from car park shining at the top Time clock light on tv was too bright and lit up the room in the dark Big gap under the room door meaning light and noise came through Single quilt was not big enough for a larger person, only just fitted on the bed! Two single beds had to share one bedside table - needs another bedside table as one wasnt big enough, for phone, glasses of water and book so I had to utilise the chair. One single bed was right up to the wall which was uncomfortable There was an adjoining door to the next door room which we wasnt expecting although it was locked. The people in the next room came in late and I could hear their conversation and I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable with that. The lighting in the room was odd, couldn't have just the floor lamp on or the desk lamp on without the main overhead light on as well Buffet Breakfast was ok, no trays though(!) and cold plates, and no bacon! People were stood in the way waiting for it. Serving staff were friendly and helpful however. Decent car park and plenty of spaces, you have to pay £5 on an app. Linen and towels were clean, bed ok although a bit high, felt like i was going to fall out and the pillows are quite fat! Shower was ok. Good stocked bar and a nice (but pricey) pub next door on same site. Reception staff efficient but not very friendly and there was noone on reception when we came to check out and to complain about our issues, we had had, which is quite odd. Just a box to put the key in.
