Stayed for one night with family, very conveniently located for the Bristol Beacon and central Bristol shopping centres. It’s surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants which did make it a little noisy at night but I would expect that in any city centre hotel. The hotel is basic and the rooms are quite small but they were modern and clean although the beds in the twin room were narrow and not great for our sons who are both 6’ 2” more suited to children. The bathrooms are pods similar to caravan bathrooms but was a good size and no complaints with the large shower cubicle. There was a good selection of continental and hot buffet for breakfast. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was the parking, on the website it guides you to a discounted car park which should have cost £10/day unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel we were told that this was no longer available and had to pay the full price of £20/day. All that said it was really close to the hotel.

This hotel was a great option for what we wanted. Somewhere central that we weren’t spending a lot of time in and that would be functional and sufficiently comfortable if we did. I stayed in a twin room with a friend. The bed was very comfortable and my friend said the same about hers. Overall the hotel was quiet at night. A couple of times we heard people coming back to their room late but not often and nothing different to other hotels. The bathroom was small, the shower was a good size though and it was clean. We didn’t eat breakfast there, we ate at a place at Harbour Quay on the first day and grabbed something from Tesco the second day. It’s an easy walk to college green and the cathedral area. There are also restaurants near the hotel. We ate at Las Iguanas one night. If you like staying near the harbour it’s a good option. For the price we paid I think it was good value.

Great location for Harbourside Bristol. You need to prebook your parking with a code from the hotel details to get a discount. Staff do their job but not really interested when checking in/out. Room functional with no frills. Bathroom small and very ‘plastic’ but shower good with plentiful shampoo and shower gel. Door does not close properly unless slammed and extractor fan did not work meaning steamed up mirror. Stayed 2 nights and although had fresh towels for second day, the room service was bare minimum and bed not made, even though we had paid full price for 2 nights. Placed suitcase under bed for storage and came out covered in dust and fluff. Under bed needs cleaning and mopping after each guest ** Did not pay for breakfast as plenty of cafes and restaurants in area, including a Tesco express. Due to location and being a Friday and Saturday, there was quite a lot of late noise, but closing the window works. A budget no frills hotel, great location but probably would not stay there again.
