My cousin treated to a nights stay here to go and see OMD in the Harbourside area of Bristol. Friendly welcome at reception, a quick check in, the parking is a little tricky to find but look for the hotel sign and you’ll see the car park sign which is at the rear of the property. A quick G & T, WI-FI good, room, a single in the annex situated right next door was clean and perfect for a one nighter. Location is superb, right in the heart of Clifton Village with it costing £5/6 to get an uber to Harbourside. Lots of shops & bars etc in this lovely area of Bristol! Would definitely book here again🙏

Located at the corner of Victoria Square, this is a bit of a hidden gem in my opinion. At first glance it appears to be just one block but there's a hidden annexe which contains several more rooms. The car park is at the back of the main hotel building and entry is a bit tight, but we managed without any scrapes - I drive a Nissan SUV and someone had managed to get a Transit van in there - and it's on a first-come, first-served basis, so get in early! I arrived several hours before check-in opened but the staff were quite happy for me to leave the car while I attended the function I was in Bristol for, then return to check in later on. £9 per day for a central parking slot? Bargain! We were given a room in the annexe, one of the Garden Rooms which, as you may imagine, is accessed through the garden... All the usual amenities in the room, plus a large modern en suite with a walk-in shower. Very nice! The room was a little tired, with some of the fittings not really that secure on the wall, and though there were plenty of power outlets there were no USB charge points in any of the sockets. A small thing, but as I didn't have an adapter I was unable to charge my devices. Reduced screen time, what a personal disaster! The only real down-tick, not really a complaint, would be the bedside lighting. There was only one small lamp, nothing over the bed for anyone who wants to read in bed. The bed is huge! I'd say it's probably 6' square (probably two singles pushed together) and very comfortable, and the room itself was very generously proportioned. It doesn't look like it from the photos, but when you consider the size of the bed it becomes clearer. Noise from outside or above was virtually non-existent, which is a bit strange for a townie like me, but the location of the room would have a lot to do with that, away from the street and any traffic. Made a nice change. I didn't originally book breakfast but changed my mind and put an order in with Reception when we checked in. £14 per person is quite reasonable and the food does not disappoint. There is a standard continental-style buffet, drinks are brought to your table, plus your cooked food can be taken before or after hitting the buffet! Full English with eggs to your liking (as noted on the order form) was great, locally-sourced produce makes it eco-friendly as well, or something like that... Friendly staff, good facilities, good food, decent location and well priced. I'd be happy to stay here again if I'm visiting Bristol.

The hotels in a good location with a park opposite, parking at the back And it’s spread across two buildings. Our room was of good size on the ground floor. Odd rules, you had to pick a time slot to go to breakfast, and state what you wanted fir breakfast l, on turning up at the timeslot we still had to wait 25mins to be served, where a 1/4 tomato, 1x rasher bacon, 1x sausage etc awaited us. But weirdly the following day a buffet was in place where you could eat what you wanted. Some great restaurants are nearby and the prices fair.
