My 70th Birthday at the Botany Bay Hotel – Simply the Best! We have stayed at the Botany Bay Hotel quite a few times; we have a small dog and we find it difficult to find good accommodation in the area, but Botany Bay Hotel makes us and our dogs feel very welcome. So much so, that when I decided to have my 70th birthday, the Botany Bay Hotel became my go-to first choice. Most of my family live here in Broadstairs, so it is the ONLY place to go to! The hotel is perched above the bay and has stunning views of the sea, but more importantly, the wonderful staff make this place extra special. Nothing is ever too much for them, and they always do their best to go out of their way to make things happen. I sent down my list of family and friends and their dinner choices a few days beforehand—there were 19 of us attending my "do." The function room was laid out just as I wanted, with the team making sure that everything was right. Molly did the organising and the table layouts; she asked me lots of very relevant questions—things that I did not think of myself, but which were so important. Laura (the go-to person) at reception pre-planned the event beforehand, so that when we arrived to stay for three days, the organising had already begun. Things went very smoothly; the wines were pre-ordered, the food was well-planned, and the spaces between courses worked like clockwork with Molly at the helm. The whole party went smoothly; the food (of which there was plenty) had a great selection for all to choose from, the wines were well-selected, and the tables were attended to efficiently. It was lovely to see that some of my family and friends, who had never been to the Botany Bay Hotel before, liked it so much that two families have already booked a stay here in the near future! The entire staff worked hand-in-hand to make a good party even more special. My expectations were overwhelmed by the exceptional service given by all the staff; they really did me proud for my birthday. They are a team of dedicated members who truly did go out of their way to make my birthday one that I will never forget. Thank you all for the great, friendly, and dedicated service. You are all a credit to the Botany Bay Hotel. Thank you!

“Great hotel”

Very well run hotel. Clean, modern, all necessary amenities. The staff were amazing, really friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble.

Nice hotel right on the cliff edge Botany Bay. Great beach and nice hotel. What's not to like. Reasonable rates and comfortable rooms

“Great hotel in a great location with awesome staff!”

The hotel was of a high standard and the staff exceptional. We went on a Monday for a nights stay in a dog friendly room. The room as great, no doggy smells and of a high standard. The food and drink great but, slightly higher priced but worth it taking the experience into account.
