“Well looked after by staff”
Lovely hotel. Easy to find and close to a lot of areas. Good sized rooms. Very clean. Has everything you need. Served lovely breakfast. Good value for money.

“Oh dear. The restaurant had no atmosphere”
No aircon and as we were in a heatwave the bedroom was incredibly hot Very good staff and the meals were fine The restaurant however had all the appeal of a 1950's works canteen. Not a patch on the traditional Beefeater

“Comfortable and clean hotel”
Stayed here on a couple of occasions when the city centre Premier Inn price had been too much to pay so opted for here instead. Hotel rooms have recently been renovated and are clean and comfortable. Can be a little noisy from the A12 and train line however nothing overly major. Restaurant on… more

Beware of the £8 parking charge. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, so they can become very hot on warm days, although there is air conditioning in the bar area.
