“Fantastic local purpose that welcomes visitors”
Another fantastic evening in our local pub. Great service as usual we’re so lucky to have our own mini diddly squat locally.

“Steak pie Sunday braised beef… with apple pie for pud. Delicious!”
Ideal place for a relaxing Sunday lunch, delicious honest home style food made with care and the best homegrown ingredients. Staff were welcoming and service was prompt, wine was smooth by and the fires made it very cosy an a blustery rainy afternoon. Great value for money.

A warm welcoming embrace of an old fashioned country inn. Homely and relaxed at atmosphere. Excellent range of quality, well kept ales ,beers and wines. Expected a standard pub grub menu. Was totally wrong , the food and service went way beyond that. As close to Michelin as is possible … more
