We arrived for a three night stay at this beautiful hotel to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday and were welcomed by friendly, professional staff who upgraded our room which was a lovely surprise. All the thoughtful added touches made our stay a very special one. The Spa was excellent, a high standard and all you can wish for to enjoy some relaxation and pampering. The food in The Walled Garden restaurant was very good, we ate there each night. The surrounding grounds are beautifully kept and lovely to walk around. Every part of the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend staying and will certainly return in the future.

The best Spa Hotel I’ve been to. We were told £15million had been spent creating the Spa and Garden restaurant and you can see where the money has been spent. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds, the outdoor pool is hot, around 35 degrees so using it was always comfortable even on a chilly evening. There are sun loungers outside which will be great on sunny days but we only used indoors. Which was warm and comfortable. The saunas and steam rooms were great and again very warm. Changing areas, towels, gowns and sliders all provided were excellent. The staff in the hotel generally wear all very good, really friendly and always smiling and engaging. The Spa staff were particularly helpful. If there was a negative - you couldn’t order any drinks within the pool area. A nice cocktail would have been a great addition. The Market Restaurant was great, very modern, but very comfortable. Again the staff were excellent. The food too was great, we had one evening meal and breakfast each morning. The breakfasts were superb, served at the table with plenty of choice. Our room was good, nice bed, pillows weee a bit hard, there was plenty of storage, all the amenities you would expect, tea, coffee, water etc. The room was cleaned and turned down each night, all very nicely put together. The grounds are beautiful, the main drive needs a bit of TLC, but it is a fantastic approach to the hotel entrance. The hotel itself was a little less impressive, there was table service but I think it needs a bar area where you can sit for a last drink. But overall a fantastic hotel and a fantastic experience. A perfect spa break. The city of Bath is a short drive or taxi from the hotel and is obviously worth a visit. We stayed 2 nights, I think one night might not be enough to enjoy everything. I also left my sunglasses in my room on checking out, I contacted the hotel, they were superb in locating them and posting them back into my home address another example of their excellent service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend as a nice treat.

Lovely venue, garden and staff. Thank you to the staff, lovely team. A friend and I went for afternoon tea. We were well looked after and overall the tea was very pleasant but that price range usually indicates a particular kind of tea experience which would include such items as a good selection of fine patisserie rather than cake options. It would also suggest rather more imaginative sandwich fillings although the quiche and sausage roll were delicious. All was very fresh. I had been to Lucknam Park over ten years ago which may also have affected my expectation of a particular experience. Nonetheless I did enjoy the afternoon and would happily return as the staff and venue made it special.
