We honestly could not have chosen a more perfect venue than Cotswold House Hotel & Spa for our wedding. From the moment we first visited, we completely fell in love. The beautifully kept gardens, the stunning ceremony space, the elegant cocktail bar, and the light-filled wedding breakfast room each felt thoughtfully designed and architecturally striking in their own way. Every space had its own character, yet flowed seamlessly into the next, creating the most beautiful and cohesive setting for the day. Being able to move through these different spaces gave the day a natural rhythm, while still feeling intimate and considered. It truly felt as though we had exclusive use of the entire venue, allowing us and our guests to fully immerse ourselves in every part of it. It gave us that dream Cotswolds wedding feel, with all the charm and luxury you could hope for, yet at a surprisingly reasonable price point—which made it feel even more special. The food was exceptional and far beyond what you might expect from a typical wedding menu. From the complimentary tasting experience beforehand—where we sampled both the dishes and the wedding wines—to the day itself, every element felt refined, thoughtful, and truly high-end. The canapés were incredible and set the tone perfectly, and each course of the wedding breakfast was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about it. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the team. Every member of staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional, creating such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere while delivering a genuinely five-star level of service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt completely looked after from start to finish. The day itself was everything we had hoped for and more—effortless, seamless, and filled with a sense of calm and understated luxury. A very special mention has to go to Mandy, who was quite simply the icing on the cake. From our first meeting at the wedding fayre, through the planning process, and on the day itself, she was exceptional. She handled my constant stream of emails (and a few last-minute changes and panics!) with such calm reassurance and professionalism. She became my steady emotional anchor throughout—always composed, always in control, and never making anything feel like too much trouble, while gently keeping everything on track. On the day, she worked seamlessly alongside all of our suppliers, and so many of them have since commented on how fantastic she was. Knowing Mandy was there meant we could completely relax and be fully present, enjoying every moment of the day. We are so incredibly grateful to Mandy and the entire team at Cotswold House Hotel for delivering such a flawless and unforgettable experience. We would recommend this venue without hesitation.
