“Great find in North Devon”
Great pub with really good rooms, comfy, spacious, lovely bathrooms. Overall a brilliant place to stay. Busy on Firday eveing when we arrived, quieter on Saturday evening. Fantastic breakfast !!!!

“Sleeping on a cloud”
Little gem in Chulmliegh. Great place to take a few days out of a very busy life. Parking available at no cost. Bedroom was welcoming, sleeping on a cloud. The best sleep I have had in a very long time. Dinner and breakfast was well cooked and absolutely delicious. We will be back next year.

“Large spacious rooms with lovely staff”
Four of us stayed here for 2 nights, two couples the rooms where lovely and big our friends had their dog Lola with them, and she was made very welcome in bar and, when we were having breakfast. “Disappointing breakfast experience.”
2 night stay. No kitchen staff for both breakfasts. 1st morning told to use local cafe and pub paid the bill. 2nd morning only offered cereal and toast. Disappointing because food in the restaurant in the evening was lovely. Our room was spacious and the bathroom with shower cubicle was spot on.
