“Wonderful stay while walking Hadrian's Wall Path (worth the detour)”
LOVED this place and town! We opted for the apartment room as we were 5 people walking the wall path. It was more than enough space and very comfortable. This was our last hotel of our Hadrians wall walk, it was a bit of a detour as the train to Newcastle leaves from the town, which is quite a charming, and expensive looking area. This is not a 4 star hotel! Extremely dirty carpets in the lounge and staircase to room (it looks black and I think it was originally red) quite awful.
