We’ve used this hotel a number of times for its great location and value for money. The service has also always been very good. However, it surpassed itself this time with the hard working and diligent member of staff, Teresa, standing up to the plate. Working on her own at breakfast, dealing with in excess of probably 80-100 customers including a group of 50 school children, nothing was too much trouble for her. She appeared ‘everywhere’ from the reception desk to clearing away plates and topping up the quickly emptying juice containers and coffee machines whilst keeping everyone satisfied. And all with a smile on her face maintaining high standards of professionalism throughout. A definite standout contender for any “employee of the year award” !!

“Glad all over”

2 night stay checked in with help from Teresa as was a little early and she was brilliant. She also runs the restaurant and runs her backside off helping all residents with everything even shopping ideas. She needs a pay rise.

Stayed with your Croydon town centre for the last 3 working weeks. Genuinely great experience. Staff in general are very helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. I did ask to change rooms which was sorted for me very easily, which helped make my stay much better. All the staff were great, but in particular Mabel made me feel like I was staying at a home from home. Very helpful, lovely member of staff. Also Joseph behind the bar in the evenings was brilliant. Always happy for a quick catch up and smiling despite being busy serving lots of customers. These small things made the difference. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located in Croydon, with good access to public transport, making it relatively easy to get into central London. The room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable. The bed was cozy enough for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Teresa, where the process was smooth and efficient. Whenever I had questions, they were approachable and polite, which added to the overall positive impression. The Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent during my stay. Breakfast options were fairly standard—nothing exceptional, but adequate to start the day.Overall, Hotel Croydon London is a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay with good transport links. It may not offer luxury, but it provides reasonable comfort and convenience for a short visit.
