“Comfortable stay and good location”
A last minute booking turned out as a great overnight stay. Room was comfortable as was the bed. Vibrant decor in our spacious room. Breakfast was excellent as was Anna. There were many choices all of which were lovely.

“Brilliant overnight stay, amazing manager”
Absolutely incredible overnight stay last night, Anna the manager couldn’t have been more helpful and so welcoming, she really made us feel great on arrival and again this morning for breakfast. “Wonderful and welcoming overnight stay with a dog”
Excellent welcome, great room and made for an enjoyable dog experience, with doggy breakfast of eggs and sausage. Went out of their way to create a really good cooked breakfast before the usual service times (as we were doing the Durham parkrun). We would definitely stay here again, quiet location … more

“Dog confusion !!”
We had a pleasant stay at farnely Tower guest house,clean,tidy friendly staff,(especially anna) first morning breakfast was outstanding, felt relaxed and welcomed. That all changed second morning!!! “Average, far from luxury”
From the outside, we had high hopes for Farnley Tower & a lovely welcome was promising. However, there were too many aspects that need addressing.
