“Feeling revived”

“Superlative Service at The Place”
I have visited The Place a number of times with the u3a Walking for Well-being group and have always found the service from Laurent superlative. He is a fantastic member of The Crown Hotel staff. I shall certainly recommend The Place to my friends and family.

“Garlic in everything”
Hotel seems very nice and is certainly centrally placed. However the chef seems unable to create a complete dish without garlic. Went to Wetherspoons on the first night as famished and tired after a 10 hour coach trip. Even with a days notice chef unable to make gravy without garlic.
