“A warm hotel with helpful staff”
The Crown is a welcoming bastion of the age of grand provincial hotels. Though its rates are inexpensive, the heating level in the public rooms was comfortably above the spartan norm found in most establishments. Staff were friendly and helpful. “Lovely, traditional hotel - like traveling back in time, in a good way!”
Gorgeous old hotel which feels like you've stepped back in time. Huge family room. Very friendly staff. Lovely to encourage guests and local kids to do an easter hunt around the local area for an easter egg, very welcoming for people not even staying in the hotel. “Query Groupon deal on this hotel”
Lovley hotel..friendly staff..booked through Groupn..had a lovley 3 course meal included in price...be advised on checking out had to pay additional £28 for meal..hotel said deal only included a voucher towards meal...very misleading but a lovley meal

“Nice stay but.......”
Enjoyed the stay everything including staff great, but did not enjoy the Lukewarm buffet breakfast!
