Not a quiet hotel. But a party hotel overall first impression very nice. Foyer was large staff were lovely and very welcoming. We stayed in room 220 lovely size room with two double beds. (Mattresses need replacing my hips and back were hurting g all night. Not comfortable) room itself was worn and needs lots of upgrading. Wooden floors and I am assuming that the same in all rooms and we could people walking above us and next door all night. I think some nice touches would have been a bottle of water but there was tea and coffee. We had a double spa bath. Which was massive but maybe a handrail to get in and out just for safety. Car parking underneath hotel. £15 for 24 hrs easy to find and easy to pay for parking. Everything no more than 10 mins walk. So ideal for access to everywhere. Breakfast no menu to see what we could have or order. There was help yourself to cereal and toast a basic continental. I didn’t see anything for gluten free. But the waitress was very accommodating. Great hotel if you want to explore the nightlife and just want a bed to crash down in. There is rooms that will sleep 8 or more. And very reasonable for a Sunday night. Just for the reason the hotel was so noisy and we could hear everything and I had zero sleep due to beds being uncomfortable I wouldn’t stay here again. I would not like to stay here a Friday or sat night. It’s says four star hotel. It could be a 5 if a little money was spent and upgrading a few things and added a few things it could be superb. But for a quick overnight to Liverpool. It was okay

This is an amazing hotel and our 2nd stay, 2 years apart. I’m not sure if the Chef or kitchen staff have changed from our previous stay 2 years ago but the food this time was terrible. We stayed for 2 nights on a hen do package and this could be why but at the price we paid it should not have affected this. Dinner on the Friday night was awful. Dry, rushed and 3 plates of chicken that was not cooked regardless the chef arguing this. No refund offered nor an alternative- hardly professional. Afternoon tea was bland and not very appealing. Cannot fault the service team- these guys make your stay! Very friendly. Breakfast was good. Room wasn’t overly clean and we had 3 toilet roll for 5 ppl for 3 days… just needs organised and thought out more. The curtains in our room never fully closed so light woke everyone from sunrise. No option for water temperature in shower- was absolutely roasting. Disappointing 2nd stay for price unfortunately.

“Disappointed”

We stayed in 403 - The Vault - as part of a Hen Party. Room was tired, dreadful bulbous mirror over the sink in the bathroom. Lighting was totally inadequate the 'dressing' table/vanity unit was in darkness, useless. We had asked for a room for 6 people, it wasn't, it was made up for 5 people, we weren't able to move as the hotel was full. We asked for extra towels etc, never got them but we made it work, nor was the tea and coffee replenished. The bins were never emptied, two tiny bins for 6 women for a 2 night stay?? Nowhere near enough. On a positive, I will say that the staff are lovely.. especially the staff at breakfast, couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was fresh, plentiful and lots of choice. The hotel is centrally located but don't think I'll be staying again.
