London has so many choices of hotels, we decided on London Marriott canary wharf because of the travel links to Heathrow and what a great decision. London has so many choices of hotels, we decided on London Marriott canary wharf because of the travel links to Heathrow and what a great decision. We booked 2 nights in a executive room with lounge access. There was also the bonus of Uber boat tickets with our deal. Nicole on the front desk was very good, she recognised our Bonvoy membership and explained everything about the hotel. Our room was great, very spacious especially by London standards. The hotel is located on East India DLR station and the Elizabeth Line is about a 3 minute walk. We used Uber clupper boats to head in and out of the city, much more enjoyable than the Tube. Breakfast in the hotel was very good, large selection of food and a lovely setting. The Lounge was a nice bonus, open 24/7 for hot snd cold drinks and light bites at various times throughout the day. We loved exploring a new part of London and i think we will definitely use London Marriott Canary Wharf again.

“Unforgettable Experience”

It is i think our 4th or 5th time to stay here and the people there never fail to amaze us. They always make us feel important. We celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday, we were upgraded to a suite for the 2 nights we were booked. They even had some treats for my son, the towel on the bed was set-up like a cake with petals around it and some treats again the next day. The housekeeping staff did an impeccable job. This hotel has one of the best buffet breakfast selection. I can keep going on and on about the hotel but it will obviously sell itself being a Marriott property, location and the views, what we remember the most are the people and the way we were treated. It’s been more than a year since our last stay but much to my amazement Charlie still remembers my name, so did Ali at the breakfast. It was also nice to see Adam who even read my boy a story from our last stay whilst waiting for our ride. Maybe some will say it’s their job but we can feel the sincerity, warmth and genuineness. To top it all, we got the upgrade, all the treats, the way we were treated even if we are only on a discounted rate! To us that says a lot about the team. In some hotels discounted rates are frowned upon but not here. Thank you for making my son’s 3rd birthday extra special.

We stayed at the Marriott Canary Wharf as we were attending a concert nearby. The location was superb, right on the river with fantastic transport links to the London stadium. (DLR train or a short hop on the jubilee line). The price wasn’t cheap, I paid £289 for a king Deluxe room. This isn’t by any means expensive for London, but for that you expect a certain level of comfort and service. Marriott certainly delivered on most aspects. The staff were friendly and professional. The staff were fantastic in the Gin Bar. Breakfast was very nice. The room was well maintained, clean and definitely had a luxury feel. Where they fell short was the view. This was truly awful as my pictures will show. It was a first floor room (effectively ground floor) with a horrible view of other rooms and a generator. Considering it is quayside and I paid £289 as mentioned, I feel I was definitely hard done by. So be warned and check before you book!!

Here for one night. Booked regular deluxe room. Bonvoy Gold which I appreciate is low level elite in the bigger picture of things, got mail prior arrival saying “you’ve been upgraded to Exec Floor Room with exec flor benefits’…bloody marvellous I thought good on you Bonvoy…….then I checked in and it was a mess….staff member clueless sorry, system wasn’t apparently working , tried to flog me breakfast so I said don’t worry I’ve been upgraded to exec floor so will have in lounge …No sir have been been upgraded to an Exec Room but you can’t use t(e lounge….well what’s the point I said as the rooms are the same and conformation says with lounge benefits….tumbleweed, magic roundabout moments computer says no, can’t check you in, pease wait, the heat…for gods sake….im gong to give you Lounge access…what about a room then let alone the lounge….???? Total mess….hotel is fine , good location and lounge is actually aok for a pre dinner drink, rooms aok too for london but sort the rest out….had to call 3 times for extra towels also….
