I stayed at this hostel in London from May 3rd to May 6th. Overall, my experience was fairly positive, but there are several things that I think should be improved, especially regarding the bathrooms and security. The hostel is quite small and does not host too many people, which I personally appreciated. Check-in and check-out were both very quick and easy. However, when we arrived and left our luggage in the storage area before evening check-in, nobody asked us for any ID. This honestly felt a bit unsafe, because technically anyone could walk in claiming to have a reservation and gain access to the luggage area. The main issue is definitely the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which was often not great. The bathrooms are also mixed-gender, and in my opinion they should be separated, at least for privacy and comfort reasons, especially for women. At times they were very dirty and there were often things left around. I think the hostel should either clean them more frequently or make sure guests respect the rules better, so everyone can have a more comfortable stay. The sinks are extremely small and very inconvenient to use. Also, one of the bathroom doors can apparently be opened from the outside, which I personally found quite uncomfortable and not respectful of guests’ privacy. Another important thing is that the bathrooms really need more hooks to hang clothes and personal belongings. In a hostel, people need somewhere to place their things without having to leave them on the floor. One suggestion I would make is adding some background music in the bathrooms, like I experienced in another hostel in London. It would make the atmosphere feel less awkward and more comfortable. Another aspect that could definitely be improved is the fact that the bedroom windows cannot be fully opened. I understand that this is probably for safety reasons, but it might be more effective to install safety bars or a similar solution while still allowing guests to open the windows properly. In hostels, where rooms are shared with other people, fresh air is extremely important. There is a fan in the room, but unfortunately it is not the same as being able to properly ventilate the space. Overall, the experience was still fairly good, but I think improving these aspects would make the hostel much more enjoyable.

Good little place for a stay , lots of shops and cafes around the area as first time I stayed over the south side. Great value for money only trouble I had was the site I booked said breakfast was included but they don't do breakfast anymore and did long it and spent it to the owners as this is dow… more

Great value for money only trouble I had was the site I booked said breakfast was included but they don't do breakfast anymore and did long it and spent it to the owners as this is down to the site I used but apart from that the staff were good
