I went with a friend for the Greek folk music gig that was on Sunday, 8th February in the basement, but we decided to have dinner there first in the bar. The bar staff were extremely welcoming and efficient and there was a lovely atmosphere in the bar. We had halloumi wrap with french fries followed by fruit crumble / banoffee pie. Both were swiftly and attractively served and very tasty. I highly recommend this bar for a pleasant evening.

The location of this hotel is great, a very short walk from King's Cross. It is nice that it is small and not a terrible chain. The room was clean and quiet even though it is located above a bar. There were little things that could be improved, like the shower head not staying put or our early check in request being misplaced. For something different this is a good option and includes breakfast.

Both stayed at the Harrison for one night and also ate lunch there as part of a family reunion. So two reviews in one:- For the Rooms/Bed and Breakfast - Rooms are simple and relatively quiet being two floors above the pub. Everything worked as expected and interesting shower which had a screen reporting how much water you had used and cost in electricity. Great reminder to not waste resources. Breakfast order was put in the night before and we ate downstairs in the pub. Plenty of choice including for my wife who is gluten intolerant. For the Lunch - A group of 8 of us booked a table for a family gathering and had a relaxed meal with good food and service. Nice menu including options for a couple in party who had dietary restrictions. Total bill with drinks, deserts and coffees came out to just over UKL40 per person which is not outrageous for central London.

“Enjoyable stay, close to King's Cross Station”

I chose this place as I wanted easy access to the Eurostar and a decent pub, and I wasn't disappointed. I chose this place as I wanted easy access to the Eurostar and a decent pub, and I wasn't disappointed. My room was clean and bright and the bed comfortable - the only drawback was that the central heating hadn't yet been turned on so I had to use a portable heater. Breakfast was pre-ordered the evening before and served at a pre-appointed time - most importantly the food was very good. I ate in for evening meals and found both the menu and the food good. Staff were at all times friendly and helpful, and carried my case upstairs when I arrived. King's Cross Station was only a short walk away, providing good access to transport options (except during a strike).
