Don’t be put off by the exterior. It looks like it’s going through a full redecoration starting with the bedrooms and bar restaurant area and whilst there the corridor we’re getting a fresh look again very lovely decor. The rooms have a lovely vibe, great attention to detail and decor. Very clean rooms! Lovely design areas which stand it apart from other hotels as it did not have standard fixtures/fittings. From cupboard door handles to lights under the bed giving it a very upmarket feel. The bathroom is modern and very clean. Amazing sized sink and large shower. Lovely touches of everything in the room that might need from toothbrush to disposable shaver. Nice to have wine glasses in the room, ice bucket and coffee machine and a lovely surprise to have a welcome chocolate bar! Excellent workstation area with a comfortable work chair which is a big bonus if working in the room. WiFi very good. Staff very helpful and super friendly. Moved us as a small issue in first room and we were staying all week for work and upgraded from executive to a deluxe. The room had the same fixture details which are all great but it was a lot larger. On checkout a staff member even asked whilst we were leaving down the corridor if we wanted help with our many bags and reception check out was friendly. All staff we encountered seemed to really care and want to go the extra mile. Bar and restaurant area again lovely new decor. I thought the menu could have been a bit more enticing but still a few good choices. Downside: It’s near a noisy road but doesn’t bother us as we had gully working aircon and didn’t need to open the window until sleeping and by then the traffic noise calmed down. Swimming area is in desperate need for a refurb and I only used once due to it felt dated and dirty. I hope that’s next on refurb list for when we travel to this area again. Overall superior decoration and great value for money and staff make you feel welcome. We will certainly be back.

“Exceptional Staff! Wonderful Experience!”

What can I say, we went for afternoon tea and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself was absolutely immaculate and well presented. We were greeted on arrival and promptly shown to our table, which we requested and which was duly accommodated. A special shout out to Michael who looked after us. He was the perfect host and made us feel so welcome and relaxed. My mum mentioned we were there for my birthday and he bought a special plate with a lit candle and ice cream. Such a nice touch that he didn't need to do but just shows how he goes above and beyond for his guests. The food was exceptional and great quality. Once we finished eating we asked if we could have a look around the facilities. Micheal said yes without hesitation and phoned down to the staff member to the swimming pool & gym to expect us. We were very impressed with the pool which was also immaculate and equally manned by a friendly and cheerful staff member. We left feeling very full and that we'd had a great experience and we will definitely be back. Well done to the whole team.
