“Great value!”

This is very good value for money - clean, spacious room, nice reception staff. Attractive riverside setting and a short walk to town centre. The breakfast was extra and in a pre packed bag but included fresh fruit and yoghurt and was enough for lunch too. Fresh coffee.

Campus Hotel I often travel around the UK for work, and on this occasion I stayed at the hotel located within the University of Northampton campus. It turned out to be a great experience, but there are a few things worth knowing before you arrive. Finding the Hotel Finding the hotel isn’t straightforward. As you approach the end of the road leading into campus, the building isn’t visible at all. When you reach the roundabout, you’ll see security barriers. Simply speak to the security team — they were very helpful, confirmed I was in the right place, and allowed me through. The car park has the hotel’s name marked on the ground, which reassures you that you’ve arrived. Once parked, follow the footpath and cross the road. The hotel sign becomes clear from there. I suggest heading straight to reception first to register your vehicle and avoid any parking fines. Area The area was very quiet during my stay, possibly because students were away. It felt peaceful and relaxed throughout. A nearby high street is only a five‑minute drive away, with electric vehicle charging points available. If you enjoy walking, the town centre is around 40 minutes on foot. Food If you’ve booked breakfast, it’s served just outside the hotel in the student dining area. You join the queue and help yourself from the buffet — everything from a full English to cereals and lighter options. It’s simple, convenient, and easy to navigate. Rooms The room was clean, tidy, and well‑equipped. The towels and toiletries were good quality, and the room included a kettle with tea and coffee. There’s a small desk for working, and a table that’s handy if you bring in a takeaway. I had a double bed; it was firmer than what I’m used to at home with a Templar mattress, but I still slept very well, which is the most important thing. Atmosphere The atmosphere was calm and quiet — ideal for winding down after a long drive. It gave me the perfect chance to rest and reset before my meeting the next day. Value This was one of the best‑value stays I’ve had recently. I wasn’t sure what to expect given the location on campus, but I was pleasantly surprised. Well worth the price. Noise There was no noticeable noise at all. I saw a few guests around, but everyone seemed respectful, and the campus patrols helped keep the area peaceful. “Shower nearly flooded”

This hotel is set in the heart of the college campus which is fine no issue just on the outskirts of the centre, Carpark is a 2 min walk and is free which is also on site. Modern hotel and all the essentials you would need room was basic but clean, mattress was very firm nice extras was free water… more

This hotel is set in the heart of the college campus which is fine no issue just on the outskirts of the centre, Carpark is a 2 min walk and is free which is also on site. Modern hotel and all the essentials you would need room was basic but clean, mattress was very firm nice extras was free water and biscuits. Had a shower and half way though realised that the water wasn’t draining away quick enough and was filling up to the point it was about to flood the room. Took pictures and went to reception and reported it, the receptionist had said thanks for letting me know. With that in mind the following day I approached reception after being out for the day and asked if the shower had been sorted and she just help up a post it note read it and said no! Very poor, you at least need some feedback on that with a solution she was not fazed at all which I think is not ok.
