“Exceeded my expectations”
This hotel is so nice! Our room was nice and big, and very clean. There was nice, crisp bedding and two pillows per person. The bathroom was nice and big and recently renovated. Wonderful staff, and the location can’t be beat. Also, amazing value for money.

“Clean and comfortable with helpful staff”
The room, bathroom and hotel were impeccably clean. The hotel is an old building with original lead pane windows, protected by a second pane to keep out the cold and noise. “An excellent cultural and gastronomic visit.”
Excellently situated to nearby city centre. Visits to museums and theatres were close by as well as iconic alehouses. The room was excellent with all facilities. On arrival the staff gave excellent advice for nearby car parking. A very enjoyable visit.

The exterior of the hotel is in keeping with the history of the area. The reception is small but satisfactory. The stairs to the bedrooms feels a little tired. “Staff fab - room experience not so good”
The Staff on the desk amazing. But the water pressure was awful too a few to have a shower and the bathroom in December was freezing. The quilts appeared to not fit the bed too well. Very small for single quilts
