We had a warm welcome and the proprietor took the time to contact in advance to ask when we intended to arrive and was kind enough to have our room ready for us. We had a lovely stay at the Fernside hotel. Stuart the manager was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and had a comfortable four poster bed. Really nice dog friendly hotel/b&b. The hotel manager was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Convenient parking directly outside the front of the hotel. The breakfast options were varied with vegetarian options and the food was good. Welcoming environment.

Stuart/Angela are brilliant hosts. They are very dog friendly even in the dining area. Rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast tasty central to shops-beach-attractions-station. Lots of doggy cafe/restaurant #teddystouringtales
