Went for the garden launch spa day with friends… I was pleasantly surprised of how much was there . The whole staff were tentative , friendly and welcoming. The spa was such a wonderful experience. I had an absolutely amazing day .i really didn’t want it to end . The food was delicious, cocktails Devine , tutorial on facial products was interesting and fun . I have to say it was the best spa day iv ever had . Also left with a goody bag . Thank you The grounds are also beautiful. Didn’t stay at the hall but had a look inside . It’s gorgeous. Next time I will be booking to stay and make the most out of that delightful spa .

“Would totally recommend”

Had a really lovely stay at Seckford hall. The staff were so helpful and genuine lovely. The room was beautiful. We had a four poster bedroom with large balcony. Very clean. Would definitely like to stay again.

Disappointing Stayed at Seckford Hall recently—overall a mixed experience. The property itself is beautiful, with a charming Tudor setting and lovely grounds. Our room had an excellent view overlooking the gardens, and we enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep. Bed comfort was acceptable. However, the bathroom feels dated (very 1990s). The high bathtub is difficult to climb in and out of, the shower is outdated, and the partial glass screen leads to water spilling everywhere. Housekeeping was minimal, towels were only provided once, with no evening refresh. Toiletries were basic, with no shower cap or additional amenities. Service was inconsistent. The barman was friendly, attentive, and a real highlight. The waitress was polite and eager, but lacked knowledge of the menu and gave questionable advice regarding the freshness of the seafood. Unfortunately, the restaurant was a major letdown. The seafood platter was overcooked, rubbery, and poorly presented, tasting far from fresh. Bread was stale and inedible. The crab soufflé was delayed for over an hour and, when it arrived, was disappointing, more like an omelette with little to no crab. The asparagus starter consisted of overcooked, thin, wilted spears in a heavy brown vile sauce. Another seafood starter was heavily dressed with ketchup, mustard, and vinegar, which overwhelmed the dish. The salad was wilted and drenched in cheap vinegar, inedible. The main course was equally disappointing: a single medium-sized red mullet, butterflied and breaded, served on a lumpy, poorly executed risotto. The vegetable side dish consisted of overcooked kale and other greens, turned dark, unappetizing and lacking any freshness, poorly presented. Across the board, dishes were badly presented, often lumped together on the plate and not appealing to the eye. The dessert (pavlova) was similarly underwhelming, nauseating, hardly any strawberries, mostly whipped cream with an overly sweet meringue. Considering the price paid, the dining experience fell well below expectations. In summary: a stunning property with great potential, but the food does not match the setting. Best enjoyed for drinks, tea, or coffee rather than dining.
