“True Christmas Cheer”
Didn't stay here but had a light lunch which was excellent. Had a glass of champagne & a Lyonnaise potato starter (+a green side salad) that was sublime. Will be back for more when next in area.

“A Real Gem”
This is a real gem. The food was beautifully cooked and there was a very good selection. The Prix Fixed meal before 1930 was an absolute bargain. Friendly service made for a great visit.

“Very nice experience in Shrewsbury”
Great location in Shrewsbury. Rooms were very nice and clean and modern yet still maintaining the old atmosphere. Staff friendly and service great, Restaurant accommodated GF requests.

“Beautiful Old Hotel in a great Location and with loads of Atmosphere”
Great location. Has some parking of its own. Well renovated and to a high standard. We had a room in the original stables, later a shop. “Disappointing.”
Location very good for shops and restaurants nearby......not so good as its noisy from traffic and revellers going past the bedroom window.
