“Weekend stay”
What a lovely hotel. Very old fashioned but we loved that. Room was spacious and spotless. Check in was easy. Great location. Would definitely stay again. Yes some of the carpets are threadbare but a powder room, a fab old highchair, wooden floors, wooden revolving door. so lovely.

“Alex, the hotel inspector is needed here!”
March 20th Tired hotel that has lots of history attached to it.. My room ( 208) was ok, however the mattress was shocking 🥺.. I suspect any ' sprucing ' up would cost well over £100000! The reception area is in my opinion, in completely the wrong place. Fortunately the staff on duty were friendly 😊👍
