I visited the hotel to have a spa day with a friend, I had a lovely treatment by Amy T, she talked through the treatment and listened to my focus areas. All facilities were clean and presentable, we especially enjoyed the outside jacuzzi with views to the golf course. We had afternoon tea in the spa cafe, the food was well presented and fresh. Will return!

Arrived Sunday afternoon and was checked in well. Receptionist was kind and went through everything well including parking £5 a day. Arrived Sunday afternoon and was checked in well. Receptionist was kind and went through everything well including parking £5 a day. I had two nights in the hotel, king size room looking over the cricket pitch with a large balcony. Room spotless Plenty of space Beds comfortable, slept well Bathroom spacious and equipped well with tissues, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion Did find an empty can of coke on the balcony so not sure why this wasnt cleaned before I arrived Used the restaurant, food was lovely Breakfast was great and plenty to choose from. Did order a drink to the reception which never arrived, appreciate it may have been busy. Would definitely return, did use the spa and left review. Was amazing.

Great place if you like cricket. Unrivalled views of the pitch. The food served in the restaurant is very good too. I would have given this hotel a 5 star review if housekeeping had been better. My room wasn’t cleaned on the first night but thought that once they’d checked it on the list they would come back to do it. I even gave them a second chance as the conditioner bottle was empty so I asked reception to fill it and check the others too. I was told they would send housekeeping to do it. They didn’t bother. Need to do better on customer requests.

We recently stayed at this hotel after breaking down on our journey. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make our first night and phoned the hotel to explain the situation. The woman we spoke to didn’t seem very interested or concerned, and we were disappointed that nobody even asked if we were okay given the circumstances. When we finally arrived the following evening around 5:30pm, the staff there were friendly and welcoming, and the stay itself was pleasant. However, the lack of empathy and customer care during our initial phone call left a negative first impression. Overall, the hotel itself was fine, but better communication and understanding in situations like this would really improve the customer experience.
