“Clean and friendly Hotel.”
We stayed at the Wessex Hotel for a midweek break. Our experience at check in was pleasant, the lady who checked us in was polite and informative with good local knowledge ( this was our first visit to the area) and made us feel at ease. “Good clean hotel”
Went with a coach trip. Hotel was clean the food was vrry good with a good choice. The staff could not do enough to help you. I would not hessitate to stay there again. One of the better hotels I have stayed in.

“Middling experience”
Noisy, dirty room. Floor not vacuumed with sweet wrapper and clothing tags present. Over bath shower did not work. But bath filled up quickly. Restaurant not available due to private function with no warning. Breakfast was delicious, bathroom and bedding was clean.
