“Amazing Sunday lunch.”
First Sunday lunch at Half Moon, & absolutely loved it. Previously a frequent Sunday roast customer at The Shakespeare who have sadly stopped serving Sunday lunch ☹️. “Better than expected”
Friends booked a table for 4, and after reading some recent reviews I was a bit worried. But we had a wonderful meal and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had 2 curries, 1 cod dish and a gammon dish. “A relaxing pleasant weekend”
We chose to stay here with friends for an event which was happening at Telford Golf Hotel and Spa. The rooms were lovely, the staff very friendly, the cooked breakfast gave a great start to the day. “Well worth a visit, but gets very busy in Summer.”
Huge car park (essential given how busy they get in the Summer). Wonderful position with great views down to the river. Large interior and huge area outside. Nicely decorated. Friendly efficient staff. Food jolly good but 4* is a reasonable score. Prices reasonable. Will return.
