“Exceptional Food & Service”
We went for our tea on Friday evening. The food was exceptional - I ordered from the specials board - crispy belly pork with a cauliflower jus, roasted cabbage, hassleback potatoes and redcurrant sauce. “Perfect country pub.”
We stayed for 3 nights with 3 generations of our family and we all had a lovely time. The rooms are cosy and nicely decorated, the food was lovely and generously portioned, all the staff were welcoming and helpful and the locals were friendly. We will definitely stay again.
