“Best hotel ever”
If I could give more than 10/10 we would, a beautiful hotel with lovely welcoming staff and reasonable bar prices, and the rooms were spotless

“Great place to stay if visiting Durham”
We enjoyed two nights at this welcoming inn with friends. Andrew and his team of youngsters are a credit to the hospitality sector. Nothing was too much trouble for them. “A wonderful place to stay”
We used this as our base as we explored County Durham. The room was spotless, the staff friendly and good-humoured and the food was excellent, so unusual but tasty offerings on the menu!

“Great service and food”
After waiting an hour for food at a pub nearby we walked out and drove to the Three Horseshoes. “Nice pub but parking can be challenging”
Really nice pub serving excellent, if a little pricey, food (my wife's main of beef beef stroganoff was almost £30 - other mains were more reasonably priced). Staff and service all excellent. Parking can be difficult depending on how busy the place is. Would definitely return.
