I had previously contacted premier inn to let them know that it was my partners birthday, I asked if it was possible to put some decorations in the room. We arrived and the gentleman on reception was so helpful and polite and once we mentioned about my partners birthday he gifted us free parking. Once we entered the room we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco on ice as well as balloons and a banner. It was such a lovely touch and made our stay more special.

“Nice staff and clean room”

Doreen at reception was amazing, she was thoughtful and kind towards our needs. Great customer service during our stay. The Room was also clean and okay for our stay.

Nice hotel, I often stay here when in London as it has great links to central London. Plenty of parking and at a reasonable day rate too. Warm welcome, clean and what you expect from a Premier Inn. Two things this time were not great, first was the bed, usually quite comfy and I sleep relatively well, this time the mattress was super soft and uncomfortable (maybe it's just me getting old?) and the second was that the restaurant was closed when we arrived back just after 6pm and we're hoping for a quick tea before settling in for the evening, ended up having to go back out again which wasn't great. No obvious display of restaurant opening times and when I googled it only provided times for breakfast, other staff were busy with customers. Overall, pretty good and would have given full marks if not for the restaurant and mattress!

We stayed here for one night, choosing the hotel mainly for its close proximity to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. In terms of location, it’s very convenient, and there is plenty of parking available (although there is an £8 overnight charge). When we arrived, the front desk was unattended. We rang the bell and waited while an alarm sounded somewhere in the background. A young man returned after about seven minutes and apologised for the delay, which we appreciated, so it wasn’t a major issue. Our biggest disappointment was the condition of the room. It felt quite run down and in need of refurbishment. In the bathroom, there were ingrained water marks on the walls, and the sealant and grout looked poorly finished and dirty in places. When I tried to shower, the round shower head sprayed water in all directions—mostly outside the bath. Thankfully the shower curtain prevented a complete flood, but it was frustrating when all I wanted was a straightforward, steady stream of water. There was also a small, hardened, sticky patch on the bed that felt like dried glue or something similar. Aside from that, the room was reasonably clean. Another major issue was the heat. The room was extremely warm. I got out of bed to turn off the thermostat, only to discover it wasn’t on, and neither was the radiator. It seemed to be the general temperature of the hotel. There was a large fan in the room, which made me think this might be a known problem. We left it running all night, but it made little difference. My wife and I both had a very uncomfortable night’s sleep due to the heat, although thankfully the kids slept through. Breakfast the following morning was basic, with a limited selection, though it was probably in keeping with the small dining area. Compared to a typical Premier Inn breakfast, it felt underwhelming. Scrambled or poached eggs weren’t available as standard—you had to request them. I chose not to, as I didn’t want to wait, but perhaps that would have been better than the fried eggs on offer. All in all it was just a bit disappointing and for the money I think they need to spend a bit on refurbishing and freshening it up. If you’re not too fussed and just want somewhere close to Harry Potter studios then its ok I guess.
