We decided to book a spur of the moment two days away in North Norfolk. I found the room advertised on Booking.com and the photos were exactly how we found the Orpington room set up on arrival. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The photos show the kitchenette area exactly as provided and the list of amenities is spot on. We knew exactly what to take with us catering wise and I was actually pleasantly surprised at the amount of crockery etc provided. Odele met us on arrival and was genuinely warm and welcoming ( even though we were 2 hours late! Sorry Odele 😊) We had our 2 little dogs with us so the availability of a fenced off dog area for exercise was great. The amount of seating areas outside was a surprise. Seats around the pool, dining area on a patio, BBQ area in the paddock. Great! In the room there was a good sized bed, massive bathroom, table, chairs, dressing table and patio doors opening onto a little balcony area overlooking the big wildlife pond. The main road is quite close but it's at the bottom of the big garden so a little louder in the day but soon goes quiet in the evening. Plus we were there at the height of the holiday season so busy everywhere. It didn't bother us as we were off out every day exploring. We did sit out on the balcony when we came back and it was relaxing, quiet and sunny. We only had our breakfast in the room each day but you can cook all sorts in the combi microwave provided as well as the two ringed hob. There was also a toaster. We will definitely go back but next time we will book directly with The Eiders to get a better price plus it's better for the business owners as 3rd party booking sites take so much of the overall money! Overall, loved this place and well worth the visit as situated just right for exploring Norfolk.

Odele & Simon are the perfect hosts, available if needed, but unobtrusive. We stayed in the Aylesham, which was perfect. Odele & Simon are the perfect hosts, available if needed, but unobtrusive. We stayed in the Aylesham, which was perfect. It had all you could need for a real home from home experience, nicely decorated, plenty of mugs, plates, glasses, etc; & with a lovely long balcony with beautiful views over the pond & garden. A very restful environment which we had particularly wanted. The bed was big & comfy, and as it was over 30°c during our stay, the lovely pool was an added bonus. We were perfectly happy here & wish we could have stayed longer than our 3 nights. Thank you Odele & Simon!

This is a little Gem of a place - holiday lets - ie self catering accommodation We stayed in the Aylesbury suite which was dog friendly and perfect for us - very spacious and very clean - great view overlooking a big pond . About 5 min drive to Sheringham or Cromer - also went to Wells next the sea which took 30 min The owners were both very friendly - happy to advise on places to go etc if needed The real plus point for us was the lovely outdoor pool which was a massive selling point for us and what attracted us in the first place Lovely surroundings with sun loungers chairs etc- you could also safely tie dog up - next to the pool is a lovely exercise area for dogs - all secure A lovely 3 days stay - would love to return

“Super stay - doggie friendly with outdoor pool .”

Wanted a heated outside pool, doggie friendly near coast and parks. It that respect it was spot on for us . Stayed in the Aylesbury suite, was super clean, spacious with nice south facing balcony pond view. Owners Odel and Simon most welcoming and much appreciated.
