Cant really believe the bad reviews for this hotel, yes it backs up to the railway station but believe me the noise is minimal. We were in room 107 which actually overlooks the platform. “A great location hotel”
The Duxford is a great hotel to break up the journey from London Stansted to home if your more than a few hours away. Check in was easy and the room was already set up for three adults. Breakfast was very nice, simple but with plenty of choice.

“Not as good as it used to be”
A change of ownership here. The revamp has seen the previous king size beds replaced by a double, so there is a gap between the bed and the existing bedside tables.
