“Highly recommended!!!”
We stay at St John’s lodge every time we visit the lakes and would not consider anywhere else. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, beautiful breakfasts with the most amazing choice and the hosts are excellent, they can’t do enough for you.

The location is great, halfway between Windermere railway station and Bowness pier. The room is very big, perfectly clean and comfortable. “Short break in the lake district”
Lovely hotel. Had a nice little three night break in the lakes. Great location. Very good breakfast every day with an excellent choice of menu. Lovely continental items available as well. No complaints from me. The whole staff were brilliant and excellent hosts.
