my wife and i stayed at the park hall for four nights . It was not the first time we stayed at the park hall . The stay itself was , as previously , average . My wife was not well and on leaving i was too rushed and i stupidly left behind in the room a coat of mine . It was my fault i fully accept that . I rang the hotel from home two days later and spoke to reception , to a person i had chatted to at length during our stay .I was led to believe the coat had been recovered along with contents . I said the coat contained an item which i wanted to recover . I did not specify what , nor did i mention that there was also a sum of money in the coat . I did not mention the money but intended to say when it was recovered to me , that it could be given to the finder . I was assured i would be contacted asap . two days later , having heard nothing , i repeated my phone call , this time to a different person . I have now given up all hope of recovering the coat or the contents . I do not care about the coat , i do not care about the three figure sum of money i stupidly left behind . I do care about the relatively cheap pendant that my wifes sister gave to my wife not long before cancer took my sister in law from us . There is an element of dishonesty or incompetence or dont care attitude by the park hall ,or a mixture of all three , that both surprised and disappointed me .

“To loud … no sleep”

While the room was smaller than expected it was clean. The bed was comfortable. Went to the swimming pool which was also clean and not too busy. Unfortunately there was so much noise during the night it was impossible to get much sleep. There were drunk people laughing and falling around in the cor… more

While the room was smaller than expected it was clean. The bed was comfortable. Went to the swimming pool which was also clean and not too busy. Unfortunately there was so much noise during the night it was impossible to get much sleep. There were drunk people laughing and falling around in the corridor at 3am. When the noise finally died down a bit someone knocked the door (around 6am) looking for someone. By 6.30 noise had resumed with people shouting and laughing in the corridor. If you want to go to a hotel where you can actually sleep this is not the place.
