“A WONDERFUL STAY”
We stayed here from 19/07/26 to 21/07/2026 the location was ideal only 5 minutes walk into the city. This hotel met all of our expectations our room was lovely it had everything we needed, breakfast was well worth it it certainly set us up for the day. “Great escape in York!”
The Churchill is a great choice for York. Excellent service and facilities provide a welcome escape from the bustle of York. It’s a short walk back to the sites. Couldn’t ask for more.

“Must stay in York”
Beautiful Hotel with an excellent beer garden. Great location; short, flat walk into York Centre to sights. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting York.

Definitely a basic 3 star hotel. Staff were lovely and service was great but the hotel- or our rooms at least- need a bit of TLC. Our double room was tiny; very cramped with just a wardrobe and desk.
