The Windermere Rooms where we stayed were amazing! The lovely blonde young Jordy girl who checked us in, was exceptional and gave me and everyone else such a warm, friendly welcome. She explained everything extremely thoroughly and gave me all the information about where my room was, when and where breakfast was served, Dinner options, The Green Clean and The Inn Collection App. She is just fabulous and a total credit to The Waterdedge Inn. Also the Manager, Terry was great. Very friendly, professional and super helpful. Also the lovely young workman who helped me find our room, when we came. He was so friendly, polite and helpful. All exceptional staff! The room was spacious and the bed was huge and so comfortable. Absolute bliss. We stayed in room 69 and it was absolutely fabulous. We had everything we could possibly need and it was spotlessly clean. Great you could open windows and if it was cold you could put the radiator on for a short while and the room warmed up very quickly. We loved this room! Wateredge Inn is absolutely fabulous and its heaven sitting outside eating and drinking next to the stunning Lake. The breakfast was gorgeous and very well executed. The location is stunning and close to everything and a stone throw away from the lake. Ambleside is a lovely scenic 10 minute walk if you dont go the main road way. There are cruises and busses on your door step to experience places all over the Lakes. Its just peffect! We could not fault a thing, only praise it! Our whole stay was perfect and I only wish we could have stayed longer as we had the most amazing time! We cannot wait to come back! We have stayed in accommodation all over the Lakes but this was by far the best. Thankyou for an exceptional and wonderful few days.

Location was fantastic, very close to the pier and lots of local shops/eateries. The people and staff there are soo polite and helpful. Very easy to check in/out. The room was overral very nice and clean, my only criticism would be that there was an off-putting smell and after looking closer into this found the smell was coming from the carpets which makes me think they don't have a deep clean which I would recommend to get rid of it as it was quite putrid, especially since its a dog-friendly hotel.
