We stayed here for one night last week while attending a concert at the O2. We had originally booked another hotel in the area, but after reading some worrying reviews, we decided to change our reservation and stay here instead. We are so glad that we did! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy, and we immediately felt looked after. Our room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning (which was very much appreciated). The hotel was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay before and after an event. Breakfast was also good. A special mention also goes to the receptionist who kindly refilled my reusable water bottle with ice and water as we checked out and headed into central London on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. It was a small gesture, but one that was greatly appreciated. This hotel has definitely earned our loyalty and will now be our first choice whenever we attend events at the O2.

We chose this hotel as I am disabled and use mobility aids and it was one of the closest to the O² arena after a gig there on the 12th august. When we arrived lovely Anita checked us in and was very accommodating when I asked if the had shower caps in the room. I didn't want to ruin the hotels stuff with my freshly died hair. She was welcoming friendly but professional. Directed us perfectly as it was our first time using this holiday inn. Anita even remembered us from check in when we saw her again later that night post gig. She was exceptionally well mannered. Holiday inn definitely need to keep her. A credit to the company. The air con throughout was a welcome reprieve and the offer of refreshments was very well ranged considering the bar itself wasn't the biggest. Everywhere in the communal areas the bar restaurant and check in was very clean. When we checked into our room the air con was on and black out curtains pulled closed. Whoever was our housekeeper in room 423 bravo 10/10 that room was so perfectly chilled. Perfect to escape London's extreme heat at the moment. I was pleasantly surprised to see the in house shower products were dove. As I had forgotten shower gel. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, the shower was roomy which is rare for me as someone who is 6ft tall. The room was spacious with all necessary amenities and we even had a couch/pullout which was a nice surprise. The view of Greenwich from the hotel helped make a couples getaway that much more special. Every staff member we encountered at this holiday inn was professional yet smiley, well presented. I was very impressed as a well seasoned traveller we will definitely be adding this holiday inn to our yes pile. Hope to see you again.

“Good visit”

Good location (20mins walk to O2). Rooms were ok, getting slightly sold now. Good air con I expect all rooms to have safes on. To be a basic thing Breakfast was ok, selection of complimentary cold and hot. Would recommend.

Breakfast the usual fayre although can't really comment as I only had toast! Reasonable walk to the o2 from the hotel although my word the litter on the route, no excuse for people to do that. Nothing to do with the hotel of course. My one real gripe is the £33 (with discount) parking on site. You pay for a room and yet £35 for 24 hours parking?! Daylight robbery really. London prices we were told, well it may be better to catch the show on tour at your local seaside resort. Similar hotels we stayed at in Bournemouth and Portsmouth parking was around £7.50. So a bit of a liberty really. So in a nutshell ok for a nights stay but it would certainly be cheaper by train!
