“Family trip”
Very well managed old historical place. All staff very friendly from reception to pub staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and scrumptious thanks to chef for delicious food.Must visit if you are in Carrickfergus.

“Absolutely fantastic. A family run hotel where the welcome is warm and friendly”
We stayed overnight. Clean rooms with good facilities. Staff wonderful and helpful. Breakfast delicious. Bar good fun and very welcoming. Love the history of the place and the location by the castle and harbour (which has free parking).

“Charming little inn.”
Visited here for Halloween. It is a very authentic inn. Staff were friendly and the food was good! Portion sizes are very large - especially at breakfast! The only downside for us was that our bedroom did not feel warm despite some heating being on! This could have been due to the nature of the o… more

“Disappointing”
Fab deal on living social. £19 for two Sunday Roasts with tea or coffee. While the food and service was good the meal was smaller than previous visits and although it’s advertised as relaxing in front of an open fire you are stuck in a cold room at the back.
